AHN Wexford Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 160-bed full-service acute care hospital located at 12351 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA. It officially opened to patients in the fall of 2021, specifically on September 30, and represents the single-largest new facility investment in Allegheny Health Network's history. The 345,000-square-foot facility serves residents in Pittsburgh's North Hills communities and aims to bring world-class healthcare closer to home. It is physically connected to the AHN Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion, forming a comprehensive medical campus that offers a full continuum of care, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation services. The hospital is designed with a strong focus on patient experience, featuring all-private inpatient rooms with ample natural light, hotel-like concierge services, and advanced technology such as bedside access to electronic health records, telemedicine, remote monitoring, and interactive video boards for daily care schedules. This patient-centered design aims to reduce wait times, staff fatigue and turnover, medical errors, and operating costs.
